Safety Personnel’s Perceptions on the Significant Factors that Affect Construction Projects Safety Performance

The Malaysian construction industry has been long categorized as one of the riskiest industries due to high number accidents that happened at sites. poor safety performance in caused several drawbacks and failures aspects project performance, cost, completion time, productivity. One reasons led this situation is inadequate awareness factors. Therefore, study aims investigate significant factors affecting projects, based on perceptions personnel. Fifty-six (56) questionnaires were distributed among personnel who are working sites Kuala Lumpur through email face-to-face methods. percentage returned questionnaire was 100%. analyzed using Average Index (AI) analysis attain affect projects. findings revealed level organization training, rules induction, monitoring. outcomes could assist relevant parties especially contractors avoid occur have a systematic improvement indicators project.
